Trentingrana cheese is a mountain product, under control from the production of forage and the milk, to the transformation and sale of the finished product. It is a product that stands out from similar cheeses made in the plain by its organoleptic qualities – such as the special fragrance, the aroma and the flavour in perfect balance between mild and salty – which makes it palatable for everyone. Produced since 1926 only with selected milk, rennet and salt, it is ready after being cured for 18/20 months and longer. It is recommended for everyone, in particular for adolescents and the elderly, as it is rich in calcium which helps bone calcification. It is a semi-fat cheese and therefore has a reduced lipid content, making it ideal for the modern diet. Only one hundred thousand cheeses are made per year
